How much will it cost?

Downsizing can be a tough decision, particularly given memories associated with a family home, but there are benefits to be had from a move to a smaller property.

As a tenant you are liable for:

  • Monthly rent 
  • Council tax
  • Energy bills (gas and electricity)
  • TV licence and any TV or internet subscriptions

What’s included?

  • Development service charges (onsite manager, internal and maintenance, cleaning, garden maintenance, 24 hour Careline Service)
  • Ground rent
  • Buildings insurance
  • Communal Wifi
  • Water and sewage costs (not at all sites)

To start your tenancy, you will need to pay: 

Reservation Fee 

To secure your property you will pay a reservation fee of £1000 this includes a £200 tenancy set up fee and a £800 reservation deposit that will be deducted from your security deposit. (– see our fees page for more details)

Advance rent 

Depending on your move -in date this could be between 4- 6 weeks rent cost

Security Deposit 

Normally one equal to one month’s rent – we will use the £800 reservation deposit towards this amount. (The security deposit is held for the duration of the tenancy and the landlord can claim against any damages or unpaid rent at the end of the tenancy)
